Your Role's mission:
At Pelico, the HR Ops Director ensures scalable, efficient, and compliant people operations across all our entities.
By leveraging AI-driven processes, automation, and data intelligence, this role is central to:
- Building a seamless employee experience,
- Supporting rapid international growth,
- Enabling managers and employees to thrive through robust HR processes, systems, and compliance frameworks.
Main Responsibilities :
- Design and Scale HR Operations globally by implementing automated, AI-enabled workflows across the full employee lifecycle (onboarding, offboarding, payroll, mobility, benefits).
- Ensure compliance with local labor regulations, tax, and social obligations in all active countries (France, EU, US).
- Optimize HR systems & data: streamline processes, build dashboards, and provide predictive analytics to guide leadership decisions.
- Deliver a seamless employee experience: from onboarding to benefits, in close collaboration with IT and Facilities.
- Enable managers with clear policies, playbooks, and training, acting as a trusted advisor on HR operations.
- Contribute to transversal People projects (performance cycle, compensation, DEI initiatives).
- Partner with Finance for workforce planning and payroll forecasting.
Example of Strategic Projects
- Supporting management in organizational redesign during a high-growth phase.
- Implementing AI-driven HR dashboards to forecast attrition and optimize workforce planning.
- Leading the rollout of global mobility frameworks to support international expansion.
Location : You will be based in Paris, with English as your working language. We offer a hybrid work arrangement.
Preferred Qualifications & Skills

- Proven experience (8–12 years) in HR Operations or People roles, ideally in a fast-paced, international, and scaling environment.
- Strong expertise in HRIS (e.g., HiBob) and payroll systems, with a track record of driving AI or automation-enabled HR transformation.
- Solid understanding of global employment law and compliance (France, EU, US priority).
- Demonstrated ability to design scalable processes across the full employee lifecycle (onboarding, offboarding, mobility, benefits).
- Data-driven mindset: comfortable building dashboards, analyzing KPIs, and leveraging predictive analytics for decision-making.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and deliver in a scale-up context.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills; able to influence and collaborate with executives, managers, and employees across geographies.
- High level of problem-solving and critical thinking, with the ability to thrive in ambiguity.
- Bilingual French & English (verbal and written).
