Mission
The IT Manager Intern will play a key role in maintaining and improving Pelico’s IT infrastructure, ensuring seamless operations for employees. They will be responsible for IT support, system administration, and security compliance, while also assisting in DevOps-related tasks. This role contributes to Pelico’s success by providing efficient IT solutions, improving security, and enhancing the overall user experience.

Key Responsibilities
Objective 1: Assist in Ensuring Reliable IT Support and System Administration
Provide responsive IT support for employees, resolving technical issues efficiently.
Manage user accounts, access, and permissions across Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Slack, Linear, Teamviewer, Keeper, OpsGenie, Notion and other tools
Set up, format, and reinstall OS on Mac and PC devices.
Ensure all IT assets are inventoried and tracked properly.
Objective 2: Support in Maintaining and Improve IT Infrastructure & Security
Administer servers, storage, and firewalls (PfSense) to maintain stable IT operations.
Regularly update and secure IT systems to comply with security standards.
Maintain clear and updated documentation for IT operations in Notion.
Monitor and improve backup and recovery processes.
Objective 3: Learn and contribute to IT operations and Automation Initiatives
Assist in updating and managing Docker containers.
Support automation and optimization of IT management processes.
Monitor and maintain Linux servers and SaaS services to ensure reliability.
Secondary Activities
Assist in onboarding new hires by preparing IT equipment and explaining system access.
Participate in IT process improvement projects.
Provide training sessions for employees on best IT practices.

IT System Administration: Managing IT infrastructure, MDM tools, and SaaS applications.
Helpdesk & Troubleshooting: Providing IT support across multiple operating systems (Mac, Windows, Linux).
